How it’s made:
Taken from rivers or natural gravel areas, and then sorted by size using large sieves.
To get this material screening process is done through 5 mm to 8 mm screens.
Where it’s used:
Mixed with cement to make thin concrete layers, like floors.
Used for making tiles or small blocks.
Commonly used in borewell work as a packing layer.
Also used in domestic flooring, precast items, and foundation leveling in light structures.
